PORTRAIT OF ISSEY SAGAWA --- £500 --- ( A4, 2024, Charcoal on handmade Nepalese mountain lokta paper ) --- Issei Sagawa was known for committing murder and acts of cannibalism in 1981. Sagawa was arrested but declared legally insane by French authorities and was later deported to Japan. Despite initial efforts to prosecute him in Japan, legal loopholes and lack of evidence led to his release. He then lived in Japan, where he gained a degree of fame, appearing in interviews and televised game shows. (Artwork created whilst doing the BedStuy artist's residency in New York City, 2024)

PORTRAIT OF NANCY CRAMPTON-BROPHY --- £500 --- ( A4, 2024, Charcoal on handmade Nepalese mountain lokta paper) --- Crampton-Brophy was the author of several self-published novels and an online essay titled "How to Murder Your Husband".
